Minimizes potential hazards of breakage, easy to handle and introduce into briquetting dies. Simply fill a PelletCups® briquetting cup with the powdered sample substance, place into die and briquette in usual manner.

Tapered-Walled, Aluminum PelletCups® is a Chemplex innovation and represent the most popular and versatile devices for briquetting a wide range of powdered samples under diversified pelletizing conditions. The tapered wall design tends to reduce cracking and fissure development. Very close outside diameter tolerance minimizes sample particles spilling over and becoming entrapped in between the inside walls of the die and PelletCups® briquetting cups outer diameters. Filled PelletCups® briquetting cups gently float down into the die set cavity on a cushion of entrapped air further reducing likelihood of spillage.
Tapered-Walled, PlastiCup™ Briquetting Cups are similar to their "ORIGINAL" aluminum counterparts excepting fabricated of a specialty plastic, shallower and accommodating less sample volume. Lubricious plastic quality helps extend die life by resistant-free pellet ejection.
Note: For best results and close tolerances, use with Precision Fabricated Chemplex Stainless Steel Die Sets
