Polyethylene and polyvinyl standards are available for manufactureres and end-users to ascertain compliance with the European Council Directives, RoHS and WHEEE, for limiting the maximum acceptable levels of Cd, Cr (hexavelent chromium VI), Hg, Pb and Br (polybrominated biphenyl, PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ether, PBDE).
Available in sets as powders and in self-supported discs contained in ready-to-use Chemplex 32 mm and 40 mm XRF Sample Cups.

| Polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride powders are transformed into individual pre-mounted 32 or 40 mm discs x 10 mm thick contained in Chemplex Cat. No. 1330 or 1340 XRF Sample Cups. The elements (Br, Cd, Cr, Hg, Pb, Ca and Cl) are present at varied wt. % concentration levels and provide excellent spreads for direct instrument calibration purposes. | |
