Cell integrates two puncturable ThermoPlastic™ seals for equalizing pressure differentials within the sample cup and sample chamber in vacuum, helium flush or atmospheric pressure conditions. The off-centered ThermoPlastic™ seal is for micro sample venting applications.

Collar pre-affixes a thin-film substrate to support evaporated droplets, micro powdered samples or small solids for thin-layered preparations.

Snap-On Ring firmly secures a thin-film sample support window to the sample cup to form a wrinkle-free sample plane and leak-resistant seal. It also serves to envelope the micro samples by “sandwiching” in between the two thin-film materials.

Cell Neck and Snap-On Ring incorporate the Chemplex “Bead-to-Indent” geometry to form taut thin-film sample support window planes and effective seals.

Internal receptacle accepts a user provided capillary tube containing micro samples or a solid substance or internal reference standard mounted on a solid rod. Inside diameter of the receptacle is 0.157” (3.98 mm).

Alternately available in nominal 32 mm diameter sample cups with integrated serrated edged Snap-On Rings that allow extraneous thin-film trimming close to the sample cup. Order by catalog number followed by "SE".
